Pool Manager

Voorhees Swim Club (VSC) is the only outdoor summer swim club in Voorhees with membership of nearly 200 families.  We are seeking two pool managers for the summer season.

Certifications Preferred: CPO, Lifeguard, CPR

Job Summary:  Manages coordination of pool personnel and pool activities. Supervises safe, clean and appealing club swimming facility.  

Term:  Pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Position begins in early May to get pool ready and runs through the closing of the pool

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Supervise operation and upkeep of all pool equipment 
• Confirm compliance with all government health mandates and guidelines
• Perform chemical analysis and application (CPO)
• Supervise lifeguards – help in hiring, manage daily activities, and monitor activity
• Maintain schedules and payrolls
• Coordinate pool events and parties
• Direct cleaning of the pool and upkeep of all pool equipment and facilities, pool chairs, garbage, bathroomsand pool office 
• Provide necessary orientation and training for staff 
• Manage front desk responsibilities – Check In and Check Out attendance
• Enforce club rules of safety and conduct 
• Maintain and keep all necessary records concerning pool attendance, pool chemicals, accident reports, schedules, time cards, etc. 
• Orders and manages all supplies; including chemicals, snack stand and bathrooms
• Provide a high level of customer service and communication with membership, vendor and guests
