Covered Bridge Swim Team Pre-Team Coach

Covered Bridge Swim Club is seeking a patient, fun, and enthusiastic individual who is knowledgeable about the sport of swimming and enjoys working with young children to coach our pre-team program. Candidate must be available between the hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM from June 23rd through July 18th and also be available to assist during Wednesday evening B meets during that time period. Duties and Responsibilities:

-Meet with CBSC swim team coordinator to discuss plans for the upcoming season and select evaluation dates
-Evaluate beginning swimmers and run small group swim lessons for children ages 4 to 6 in half-hour increments Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM
-Assist at Wednesday evening B meets/Organize kickboard race for pre-team swimmers
-Encourage and follow safety standards in order to best ensure the safety and well-being of the swimmers both at practices and at B meets
-Build a positive community that promotes good sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and team spirit
-Communicate effectively with the swim team coordinator, other swim coaches, and parents of swimmers
